Harry Edward Styles, known to the world of music by the name of Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer known as one of the members of the band One Direction. In Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, which is where he formed his own group of musicians with 3 classmates. The band he called White Eskimo. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their excellent presentations they were winners. He always showed an interest in music. However, he would like to work as the next lawyer or physical therapist. He was employed in a local bakery part-time in order to provide for his family. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the auditions of 2010 in The X Factor. Because of this, his band needed to be split. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd be forming the group One Direction after the X Factor audition. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that formed in 2010. The group sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. In result, they were among the finalists. The band was in the third spot just behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who were the winners. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell were not able to get the win in the contest. However, Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
